Healthy Homemade Veggie Burgers

Whether or not you are a vegetarian, you will love this easy, healthy recipe for veggie burgers. Minimal prep time and high nutrient content have made this a hit at my house (plus its gluten-free). This recipe is delicious and packed with fiber and protein.

15 oz can low sodium black beans

1/2 yellow bell pepper

1/3C rough chopped onion

2 1/2 tsp olive oil

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp chili powder

1. Put all ingredients in a food processor & pulse to combine 2-3 minutes. Form into 4 patties

2. Mist a piece of aluminum foil w/ cooking spray and place foil on the grill. Cook the patties for 5 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 5 minutes.
